Executive Board Nominations
This posting serves as an official notice of the commencement of nominations for the upcoming Executive Board elections. The following positions are up for election this year:
- Secretary
- Vice President
- Executive Assistant
- * Executive Officer (1 year term)
Should any existing Executive Board Member vacate the position they currently hold, nominations for the vacated positions will be accepted at the September General Membership Meeting in addition to the four (4) scheduled positions.
Please submit nominations to President Chris Varcoe [email protected] and cc Treasurer Mike Widmeyer at [email protected] prior to the “New Business” portion of General membership meeting on September 3rd 2025.
All candidates must declare to the President, in writing or email, to the identified Union email (not City email address) or phone call, or in person their intention to stand by the close of nominations at the end of the September General Membership Meeting. Failure to do so will cause the candidate to forfeit his/her nomination.
Constitutional Changes
Proposed Constitutional Amendments may be submitted, in writing by a committee thereof or by any member in good standing and shall be placed in the hands of the President on or before the General Membership Meeting in September. Proposals will be referred to the Constitution Committee who shall report their recommendations of said proposals, as they deem necessary, at the November General Membership Meeting and have said proposals posted in the fire halls fifteen days prior to the November General Membership Meeting.
