Difficult news coming out of Ottawa and Toronto on the loss of two officers. Sending our condolences to our brothers and sisters in blue.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of retiree Nicholas Bernath. Our thoughts are with his family at this time. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Collingwood Yacht Club on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow. 

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Our crews responded to a single vehicle into a tree this morning.  Extrication was required to remove the driver.  Peel Paramedics treated and transported the patient to St. Mike's Hospital.  Peel Police are investigating.   Good job by all those involved.

Fire in a second floor bedroom at a home on Russett Road in #Mississauga overnight. Female in her 30's rescued by two @PeelPolice officers after going back inside to find her dog, and was transported to hospital by @Peel_Paramedics with smoke inhalation.
