Today is The National #DayofMourning, when we honour workers that have been injured, suffered illnesses & who have been killed in the workplace. 

We continue to fight for the best health & safety practices that will help ensure we all go home.

Pause for a moment of silence at 11am.
This week is #NationalPublicServiceTelecommunicatorsWeek where we recognize our unseen heroes. Our Communicators are truly 1st Responders in every sense of the term. Rarely seen but always there. They're the trusted lifeline for our crews and community. Thank you for your unwavering dedication & professionalism.

We would like to send our condolences to our @TerreHauteFire #IAFF Local 758 brothers and sisters on the loss of brother John Schoffstall. Brother Schoffstall was exposed to COVID-19 at work and passed away as a result. Our thoughts are with his family, friends & colleagues.

Tragically, 2 firefighters were killed battling a library fire last night in Porterville, Cal. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to  the family & friends of Raymond Figueroa & Patrick Jones. Our thoughts are with our grieving sisters and brothers of the #IAFF4757 Tulare County Firefighter's.

We all want to stay warm, but we respond to more home fires in the winter months. Use space heaters and generators cautiously and according to the guidelines provided with the equipment. #IAFFsafetytips

We woke up to news of two #Toronto firefighters injured during a 3 alarm fire this morning. Sending our thoughts to the injured firefighters and our #TPFFA brothers & sisters. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
With Rain in the forecast for trick or treating tonight ​make sure you & your kids are visible to cars. Use glow sticks, lanterns, flashlights & reflective costumes. 

Drivers need to slow down and drive with extra caution.
